Include Checked Package in Resolved Versions List

The package being checked now appears in the resolved versions output! This was a visual bug where the checked package was excluded from the printed list, making it look suspicious when the compatibility report said "your package is compatible" but the package itself wasn't shown.

What Changed

Previously, when running the PyHC Environment Compatibility check:

Resolved Package Versions:
----------------------------------------
  astropy==6.0.0
  numpy==2.1.3
  scipy==1.13.0
  sunpy==6.0.1
  ... (other PyHC packages)

  # But pyspedas was missing when checking pyspedas!

Now:

Resolved Package Versions:
----------------------------------------
  astropy==6.0.0
  numpy==2.1.3
  pyspedas @ file:///path/to/pyspedas  # ← Now included!
  scipy==1.13.0
  sunpy==6.0.1
  ... (other PyHC packages)

Technical Details

The package being checked is installed as an editable/local package (-e .), which uv resolves and outputs in the format package @ file:///path. Our parser now correctly handles this format alongside regular version specifications.

Changes

  • Update parse_resolved_versions() to handle @ file://, @ git+, and @ https:// formats
  • Add comprehensive tests for editable installs, git installs, and URL installs
  • Preserve proper spacing in package specifications
