Paired engine: engine-service-v0.1.112 (tagged on 9f0a539; deployed and
live before this client tag, so a fresh local install converges to it and
the managed service already answers it). REQUIRED_ENGINE_VERSION is
(0, 1, 112); v0.1.110 and v0.1.111 were tagged on the way and superseded
before any deploy.

RDR-204 Phases 2 and 3: catalog_collections is the authority, on both sides

• Engine (Phase 2, v0.1.112): every parse site reads the registry row;
  the embedder router resolves by the row's embedding_model; a vector
  read of a collection with no row answers 422 and the five fan-out reads
  skip such names, reporting them in an X-Nexus-Skipped-Collections
  header; /v1/vectors/embed takes exactly one of collection or
  model; /v1/vectors/stats rows carry content_type, owner_id,
  embedding_model and lifecycle_state; /v1/catalog/collections/list
  gains content_type and lifecycle_state filters and rows gain
  dimension and lifecycle_state; GET /v1/catalog/embedding_profile
  returns the tenant's install-scoped profile.
• Client (Phase 3): the collection-name helpers read the catalog row;
  corpus resolution and model grouping go by column, and quarantine,
  dormant and disputed rows are excluded from search by
  lifecycle_state (Gap 4 closed); the six registration sites and four
  diagnostics stop parsing names the client itself rendered; the parse
  census gate (tests/test_collection_name_parse_census.py) ends at a
  classified floor of 53 sites in four named classes, and the RDR's
  acceptance wording now says so.
• The profile-as-data check lives at the registration seam:
  ensure_collection_registered reads the engine's profile before it
  registers, refuses a Voyage intent against a bge profile with an error
  naming the service restart, proceeds on an empty profile (bootstrap),
  and fails loud on a pre-Phase-2 engine or a missing catalog reader.
  effective_embedding_model_for_writes stays pure local.
• nx config set local.embed_model and nx config set voyage_api_key
  print the service-restart hint; nx doctor gains the embedding-profile
  rows (engine profile, client intent, off-profile, disputed, dormant and
  quarantined collections, with remedies); nx collection list prints
  the catalog columns (content type, owner, model, dimension, state)
  instead of a parsed name.
• Owner segments admit single underscores ([a-zA-Z0-9-]+(_[a-zA-Z0-9-]+)*)
  on both sides; changeset hygiene-004-1 re-files rows the old walk had
  marked disputed for that reason.
• A first nx index md or nx index pdf into a brand-new collection
  registers it before its incremental-sync read (the 7.37.0 client read
  first and the Phase 2 engine answered 422). The engine resolves a
  quarantine sibling's dimension from the origin collection again, so the
  first server-side GC pass over any collection no longer fails silently.
• Ghost sweep: a non-empty quarantine row is held, a drained one is
  deleted as a ghost, and neither is relabelled dormant (nexus-snm4y,
  nexus-n060e). Changeset hygiene-005 makes the GC functions register from
  the origin row, never a parsed name, and corrects mislabelled quarantine
  siblings (nexus-uxd2a).

Work-box fixes (GH #1489, #1512, #1522 to #1528)

• Changeset hygiene-006-1 advances every schema-nexus sequence that sits
  behind its column's imported ids at boot (GH #1489); a taxonomy persist
  conflict on a collection with no topics fails nx taxonomy discover
  loudly, naming the constraint (GH #1489, GH #1526).
• nx doctor's stale-fence row splits its remedy by owner kind, and
  nx catalog reconcile-fences [--dry-run] [--limit N] stamps non-repo
  documents that carry no fence (GH #1512).
• First-time owner registration allocates its prefix under a per-tenant
  advisory lock with a 5 s timeout; eight concurrent registrations no
  longer collapse to one owner row (GH #1522).
• nx_answer keeps its scope on the single-step fast path, and a
  registered owner name is accepted wherever a subtree tumbler is,
  including nx search --repo NAME (GH #1523, GH #1527); a corpus name
  is never captured by an owner of the same name.
• Identical chunks across collections collapse to one result that names
  the others (also_in, also_in_ids), and the RDR indexing pass skips
  the template's process documents (GH #1524); the RDR pass has its own
  counter and ETA (GH #1525).
• Taxonomy projection: the ICF pass thresholds the raw cosine and only
  ever suppresses (an ICF of 0 still fails the threshold);
  nx taxonomy project --prune-below-threshold and the engine's
  POST /v1/taxonomy/assignments/prune_projection recover a pass that
  admitted weak matches (GH #1528).
• write_manifest_many_timing engine event with per-call sweep outcome
  counts (nexus-h6d89, engine half).

Other

• nx_answer hydrated chunks carry a [source: ...] line and every
  operator prompt says how to read it; search and query text renders lead
  with a reader instruction and annotate each result's age, expiry and
  index state (nexus-onn7s).
• Bib enrichment stops stamping a cited paper's record on a preprint, and
  the arXiv banner shape passes the same citation guards as a bare
  mention (nexus-g276c).
• Test harness: one full Python suite per box; the row cache is dropped
  after every test; fixtures register the collections they write; the
  shakeout's memory verb prints both commands' output on a miss.
