How to install on Gecko browsers

Gecko browser include Firefox, Librewolf, Waterfox, Tor, etc

You will need

  • Gecko browser of version 140 or above for PC, version 142 or above for Android

Important

This add-on ONLY WORKS with gecko browsers! Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera...) don't have the right APIs for extensions that I use in this one! So you can sideload them but the add-on will never trigger.

Method 1 (Easy) : Get from the store

Note

If the button says Download Firefox instead, you are not on a Gecko browser. If it says Download the new Firefox, you are on an outdated version of Firefox (see "You will need" section above)

  • Allow access in private browsing if that's what you will use
  • Done! The extension is installed!

Method 2 (Medium) : Get from GitHub releases

Note

If it downloads the file instead, you are not on a Gecko browser. If it says Failed to install unsigned add-on, you are trying to install a pre-release that wasn't signed by Mozilla yet. Use a regular release or use method 3 to install

  • Allow access in private browsing if that's what you will use
  • Done! The extension is installed!

Method 3 (Medium ~ Hard) : Sideload it

Important

This method only works on Firefox for PC (or other PC browsers), and will uninstall the add-on when you close the browser.

  • Go to the main repository page and click on the green Code button > Download ZIP, or the release of your choice, then right click the addon.xpi file and chose Save link as.
  • Navigate to about:debugging, click This Firefox then Load temporary add-on.
  • Chose the file you downloaded earlier
  • Allow access in private browsing from the extension settings if that's what you will use
  • Done! The extension is installed!
