feat-request: OpenTelemetry (tracing) support

This would allow us to export detailed runtime information from our CI/CD environment which would help us see where time is being spent, what is running most often (we use label selectors a lot), and what are areas we should target for improvement

It would be nice if there was OTEL tracing support similar to Terragrunt https://docs.terragrunt.com/troubleshooting/open-telemetry/
