Fixed

  • Local plugin development: Added npm run dev:link-mcp so this repository checkout can provide the local opencode-codebase-index-mcp bin expected by the standard npx --package opencode-codebase-index ... MCP command, without changing the published Codex/Claude manifests.
  • MCP install docs: Updated MCP examples to use the published-package npx -y --package opencode-codebase-index opencode-codebase-index-mcp ... form and clarified that MCP runtime dependencies ship with the package.

Verification

  • PR #144 passed CI: test, CodeQL, Release Drafter, and Release Label Check.
  • Local release checks passed: npm run build, npm run typecheck, npm run lint, and npm run test:run.
  • Packed opencode-codebase-index-0.13.2.tgz and verified MCP stdio initialize, listTools (12 tools), and index_status from a clean temp project.
