@prmod3d, good idea, and it fits what is already there. Today the sketch shows lengths when you click a line or a point, and you can type a length. I will add the angle at a corner where two straight lines meet: shown in degrees with a small arc, on a closed outline as the inner angle (so a dent reads above 180°). Clicking the value lets you type an angle, and you choose which of the two lines stays put while the other turns around the corner, keeping its length. Corners with curves or more than two lines will not show one. I will build it and come back here when it is in. |

Is it possible to include an angle measurement (in degrees) in Sketch mode?
The end marker lines are already there for the length measurements and it seems like a good place to insert angle values <>180°. This is info that's really useful for functional design models (especially when replicating a real-world object), and would be yet another feature expanding on the limitations of Tinkercad.
Even better -- but perhaps more difficult to implement -- could the degree number could be modified via the keyboard to make the corresponding angle change in the sketch? The main issue here would be determining which line the angle is anchored to in order to achieve the desired result.
