Double-Click Sketch Edit

In Tinkercad it's possible to double-click on an existing sketch to go into edit mode. Like Layerling, they also have an "Edit Sketch" button if a user chooses that workflow. It's a minor thing, but one gets used to habits, and the double-click is both intuitive and habit-forming! Could it be implemented in Layerling?

Good idea, @prmod3d - done. A double click on a body made from a sketch now opens its sketch, the same as Edit sketch. It will be in the next release.

@prmod3d, fixed in 1.51.0: after a sketch the 3D view now looks where it looked before, with the same zoom and projection, so you don't have to turn it back by hand.

@prmod3d that is a good point. Not going to lie, it happened to me a few times to move the group instead of editing, but the same hazardous behavior will now apply to editing a sketch, right? With a sloppy double-click, the sketch might move on the workplane instead of entering edit mode.

TBH, if that happens 1 out of 1,000 times I need to edit the group or sketch, I would still go with the double-click. First of all, it still massively improves the workflow if I edit a group or sketch a hundred times a day: you just look at something, have it under the cursor, and enter immediately with a double-click. Secondly, even if the sloppy double-click happens, the user will most likely notice it because they will not enter the edit mode.
Ultimately, having both in settings might be the best middle ground to let users customize it to their liking:
"Double-click to edit sketch"
"Double-click to edit group/bundle"

Good points, both of you. I'll do three things: a double click on a group or a bundle opens it for editing, the same as Edit group (E); two switches in the settings - "Double-click opens the sketch" and "Double-click opens the group" - both on by default, for anyone who'd rather turn them off; and a small drag threshold, so a part only starts to move once the pointer has really travelled a few pixels. Then a slightly shaky click or double click won't nudge anything any more, @prmod3d. I'll post here when it's out.

@luk-saw @prmod3d, this is out in 1.55.0: a double click on a group or a bundle opens it for editing, and two switches in the settings ("Double-click opens the sketch", "Double-click opens a group or bundle") turn either off. A part now only starts to move once the pointer has travelled a few pixels, so a shaky click or double click no longer nudges it off the grid.
