@Richard6360, what you describe is most likely not lag: the camera has a little inertia built in - after you let go, it keeps turning for a moment and slows down, like a spinning wheel. Fusion 360 and Tinkercad stop at once, so it feels different. The next version gets two switches for this under Settings → Appearance:
The guide also gets a new section, "When layerling feels slow". Until then, two things help if it is really choppy while you turn:
If you find layerling useful, a small donation helps me keep improving it. Thank you! 🙂 |

Layerling is running very smoothly for me. I'm using an 8 gig RTX Pro Blackwell laptop GPU. CPU is Core ultra 7 255HX so, pretty middle of the road hardware wise. I have neither Edge nor Chrome installed, I'm using Brave. Not sure if that's relevant, but Stefan brought up browser usage on the GPU. |

@Richard6360, both switches are in 1.50.0: Settings → Appearance → Camera keeps turning (off = the view stops at once) and Fast mode, plus a guide section "When layerling feels slow". @RobbieKnobbie, good to hear it runs smoothly - Brave is Chromium underneath, so |
Uh oh!
