Welcome, @jamesjoyce2208, and not just a "you" thing - fair point. 1.53.0 has a switch for it: Settings → Appearance → Plate labels. Switched off, the design's name and the printer's name and build volume are no longer written on the plate. If you find layerling useful, a small donation helps me keep improving it. Thank you! 🙂 |

Hello. I'm new to the whole world of CAD for 3D printing (and, in fact, 3D printing itself) and stumbled across this project while looking at TinkerCAD discussions. I'm really happy with what seems to be a tremendous product and I'm now working with (or, at least, learning) Layerling.
One minor thing (which I'm more than willing to accept is a 'me' thing) is the text at the base of the workplane:
I find them to be distracting when using a more bold colour for the workplane lines - and very hard to read when using a lighter colour.
The project name is at the top of the screen anyway, and I will always know the workplane configuration, so they're superfluous for me.
Does anyone know of a method to avoid having these things displayed? I did look for a "don't show text" setting of some sort but didn't find anything.
Thank you.
