I completely agree that the addition of this shape is awesome! Bin BlanksThe availability of creating a bin with a raised inner surface (adjust the height of the inner surface??) allows further processing to create bins with shape cutouts to create custom fit toolholders. Thank you for your incredible work! |

Hello! I want to start off by saying that I love this new tool. I hooked it up to Claude and have been able to make some amazing things with it. I saw that Gridfinity is now a shape, which is amazing, and I hope there are a couple of settings you can add to the bins.
Default size
It would be cool if there were a way to change the default unit of 42mm. I typically go with a 21mm size because it allows me to print bins that only take up half of a spot on the base plate, which creates a lot more flexibility regarding the layout.
Labels
Labels are an important part of gridfinity bins for a lot of people.
Scoops
An optional finger scoop with adjustable roundness (?) would be very handy.
Based on all the updates I'm constantly seeing, I don't expect you to jump on this, but I just wanted to throw it out there in case those things aren't already in the works, and hopefully it will go on your to-do list.
Thanks for your time, energy, and effort in creating this amazing new design tool.
