@willi1955, you were right, and thank you for the description. The fault was in the mouse click: after duplicating, the copy lies exactly on top of the original, and a click on it sometimes caught the original instead of the selected copy and moved that. That broke the chain that repeats the offset the next time you duplicate. It worked with the arrow keys because there is no click in between. I have changed it: where several bodies lie exactly on top of each other, the one that is already selected now counts. It comes with the next release. If you need many even copies, there is an alternative that can be even more convenient: the Pattern tool. With it you set a row or a circle of copies in one step, with spacing and count, and you see a preview first: Patterns: row and circle If layerling is useful to you and you would like to support it, there is a small page for that: https://layerling.com/support.html |

@willi1955, it is out in 1.87.0: a copy can be moved with the mouse and copied again, and the next copy takes the same step. Reload the page to get it; the installed app needs a restart. |
Uh oh!

First of all, thank you very much for the excellent work you are doing here.
I am having an issue with the "Duplicate" function.
When I duplicate an object and then move that duplicate, the movement is not applied to the second duplicate when I use the "Duplicate" function again. Is a different procedure required here compared to what is standard in TinkerCAD?
