Good idea, thanks. The name tag has a "Letter edge" (round or chamfer) that it builds with a small calculation of its own, and the plain Text shape already carried the same setting inside, it just had no control for it. I have added it to the Text properties: None, Round or Chamfer and a size, so you can round the top edge of the letters without making a name tag. It will be in the next release. Please note that the rounding can only go as far as the letters are wide: where a stroke is thinner than twice the size, the edge ends in a narrower top. The underside stays flat, which suits letters you glue on afterwards. While an edge is chosen it takes the place of the Bevel setting. If layerling is useful to you, you are welcome to support the project with a small donation. Thank you! |

That is awesome. I had hoped it was an easy update. Thanks. Loving the app/website. Will donate in a few minutes. Sent from my iPadOn Oct 17, 2026, at 4:21 PM, Stefan ***@***.***> wrote:

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I see that the Keychain text has the ability to completely round text. Is it possible to port this feature over to just the Text shape? Or, increase the amount of bevel that can be applied? I'd like to print just rounded text letters that could then be applied individually to another surface.
