Thanks for the video, it shows it clearly. The handles stop at the size of your build plate (at least 220 mm), while the Length slider of the ruler goes up to 500 mm, which is why the slider got you further. A ruler is only a measuring tool and is never printed, so that limit does not make sense for it. The handles now go as far as the slider does, up to 500 mm (or the size of your plate, if that is larger). It will be in the next release. |

For us OLD goats, it sure would be nice to have a ruler setup with imperial measurements. After 80 years it's hard to switch over to metric!!! |

Thank you for adjusting it, even though it says it won't fit on the plate it does because I position it diagonally when I print it. |

@HWKPARISTX welcome, and thank you for saying it. The program can show inches (the mm / in switch at the bottom right), but the ruler had only a millimetre scale. The ruler follows the unit now: with inches it gets a scale in inches, with a line every 1/16 inch and numbers at the whole inches. It comes with the next release. And @gquiring, thank you, a diagonal ruler is a good trick. If layerling is useful to you, you are welcome to support the project with a small donation or just by telling others about it. Thank you! |
Uh oh!

Confused on why dragging the ruler to larger sizes is not allowed.
