Some ideas about tape measure #589

@lukyanenkomax, thank you, both ideas are in. When the first point of a measurement is placed, the second point now snaps at a right angle onto an opposing edge or face when the pointer comes near, or anywhere on that edge or face while Shift is held; on the workplane, Shift keeps the measurement straight along an axis. And while Add measurement is active, a click with Shift or Ctrl (Cmd on a Mac) on a measurement point or line deletes it right away, without switching modes. I tried the right-angle snap on an edge, the axis lock and the quick delete in the editor. The measurement across a bore from one inner wall to the other I have not been able to try cleanly, so please tell me if it does not give the clear width there. It comes with the next release. |

Tape Measure Usability Improvements
1.It is currently difficult to measure the distance between the inner walls of a hole or between different objects. Adding an option to constrain the measurement to a right angle (perpendicular) relative to a face or edge would be a great solution.
2. It would be helpful to have a keyboard shortcut (e.g., holding Shift or Ctrl) to delete selected measurement point while in "Add Measurement" mode, instead of having to switch mode
