I think it was said early on that @henmedia did not want this to become a parametric modeler, but these enhancements would be very, very beneficial. And since the sketching feature is on the 'advanced' side of Layerling, I don't feel they would intrude on the beginner's learning curve at all. |

we also need the center of a circle /hole if we want to attract new 3d printer owners, we have to provide a way to allow the users to edit a STL file they find online and need to edit slightly. |

Add a Midpoint Line Tool in Sketch Mode, similar to the functionality available in Onshape and other parametric CAD programs.
Suggested functionality:
Center-Point Line: Select the midpoint first, then drag outward to create a line extending equally in both directions.
Automatic Midpoint Constraint: Maintain equal lengths on either side of the center point when resizing.
Midpoint Snapping: Automatically detect and snap to the midpoint of existing lines and edges.
Construction Line Support: Allow midpoint lines to be used as construction geometry for alignment and reference.
Dimension Control: Allow precise entry of the line's total length and angle.
This would significantly improve sketching efficiency, particularly when creating symmetrical geometry, centering holes, aligning objects, and establishing reference geometry.
