v0.0.4
v0.0.3
v0.0.3-rc.2
The second release candidate for v0.0.3.
go install github.com/henomis/cicoria@v0.0.3-rc.2The install command no longer ends in /cmd/cicoria: the main package is now at the root of the module.
New since v0.0.3-rc.1
- Open a file with the system:
oin the files panel, the changes panel and the full-screen view hands the file toxdg-open, or toopenon macOS, so that an image goes to the image viewer and a web page to the browser.enterstill shows the file in cicoria.
The website and the README changed too: a rewritten home page, a cover image, and two fixes to the drawings on the home page.
What is new in v0.0.3
- Scrolling back: the mouse wheel and
pgup/pgdnscroll through what has left the agent's screen, and the title of the pane says how many lines back you are. Typing goes back to the end. An agent that reads the mouse itself, or takes the whole screen as an editor does, still gets the wheel and the keys. - A session closes with its agent: when the agent or the shell of a session exits, the session closes. It is kept, marked
✕, when the agent exits within three seconds of starting, so that its error can be read, when it has queued messages, and when a file, the palette or a question is open at that moment.close_on_exit = falsein the settings keeps every session, as before. - Open a file with the system, as above.
To try
- Scrolling back was tested with a scripted agent and a shell, not yet with the real Claude Code.

v0.0.2
go install github.com/henomis/cicoria/cmd/cicoria@v0.0.2What is new
- Ignored files: the files panel lists what git ignores too, in grey.
iin the panel hides those files and shows them again, andignored_files = falsein the settings opens without them. An ignored folder is read only when it is opened. - Workspaces: sessions are saved for the directory cicoria was opened on, so opened elsewhere it looked as if they were lost. Now the status bar says where the other sessions are when none is saved for the directory, and
ctrl+a wlists the other saved workspaces and opens one in place of the current one. A workspace that another cicoria has open is marked, and asked about before it is opened a second time.
Workspaces saved by v0.0.1 are listed after they have been opened once with this version.
Fixed
- Quitting no longer ends with an error about the socket and a failing exit status.

v0.0.1
The first release of cicoria, a terminal workspace for running several coding agents side by side.
go install github.com/henomis/cicoria/cmd/cicoria@v0.0.1Needs Go 1.26 or later and git. Developed and tested on Linux.
What is in it
- Sessions: each agent runs untouched in its own terminal pane, in its own directory. Every session shows a status (working, needs input, finished, idle, exited) and for how long, and one key jumps to the next one that needs you.
- Claude Code integration: status from hooks, edited files highlighted, tokens counted, and conversations continued when cicoria is reopened. Any other command line can be an agent, with its status guessed from terminal activity.
- Review: a changes panel showing what is not committed or, one key away, everything a session changed since it started. Files and diffs open full screen with search, hunk navigation and optional line wrapping.
- Notes: remarks on lines of a file or diff, sent to the agent together as one message.
- Queue: messages lined up for an agent and sent one by one as it ends each turn.
- Settings in
~/.config/cicoria/config.toml: prefix key, default agent, notifications, which panels open, what the changes panel opens on, animations, and extra agents.
