v0.4.8

Added

  • Themes can now set panel_bg = "reset" to let herdr’s panel chrome inherit the host terminal background instead of painting an opaque panel fill. This also accepts the aliases default, none, and transparent.
  • Ghostty-backed panes now preserve the host terminal’s default background when it matches the outer terminal theme, so terminal window transparency can show through pane content instead of being repainted as an opaque color.

Fixed

  • Clipboard writes now prefer native platform clipboard tools (pbcopy, wl-copy, xclip, or xsel) before falling back to OSC 52, which makes copy operations from panes more reliable across terminal setups.
