CLI command for running a manual backup

TL;DR

It would be great to have a CLI command such as hcloud server backup or similar to run a manual backup.

Expected behavior

When I run a command, it starts a new manual backup (if backups are enabled for the server)

It would have the same effect as clicking 'Run Manual backup' from the portal.

It looks like this is possible using the create-image command!

 hcloud server create-image <server> --type backup

Is there appetite to perhaps alias this behind something like hcloud server backup <server>? I only figured this out after sifting through the CLI source and checking the API docs. The CLI docs don't give available options for the --type flag, but the API endpoint it calls does: https://docs.hetzner.cloud/#server-actions-create-image-from-a-server, and it's not immediately obvious that backups are a type of image.

For our CLI we aim to mirror the structure of the API, so that's why we generally avoid adding additional commands.
I agree that the help text for the --type flag should be improved. Do you think a better help text would have been enough to resolve your issue?

Makes sense @ mirroring the API. Better help text would have definitely helped. I think a clarification on what type is/what its possible values are would have helped

The documentation for that flag was improved in #1064. The PR is merged and the fix will be out in the next update. I'll close this issue now, thanks for your feedback :)
