v2.0.1 — Smooth & Padding Fixes

Choose a tag to compare

@hexsian hexsian released this 27 Sep 06:07

Fixed

  • Duplicate smoothing: on_smooth_clicked was calling
    laplacian_smooth_grid twice in a row. Removed the duplicate call.
  • Padding drift on re-edit: pad_left and pad_top could shrink below
    their physical values when re-applying the filter, desynchronising
    grid-json from the actual canvas. Now preserved with max().

v2.0.0 — NDE + Puppet Pins

Choose a tag to compare

@hexsian hexsian released this 27 Sep 06:04

First public release of the fork with Non-Destructive Editing and Puppet Pins.

Added

  • Non-Destructive Editing (NDE) via GIMP 3.2 Gimp.DrawableFilter
  • Puppet Pins mode with windowed Gaussian RBF
  • Pin Radius slider and Clear Pins button
  • NumPy-accelerated pin rebuild (10–30× faster)
  • GMutex-protected mesh cache in the C GEGL operation
  • Dynamic triangle subdivision in the Cairo preview
  • Dirty-rectangle redraw for grid-vertex dragging
  • Round-trip state persistence across re-edits

Fixed

  • Mode-switch state persistence (pins no longer lost)
  • Windowed Gaussian falloff (no phantom deformation)
  • Coordinate-system round-tripping after layer expansion
  • Missing radio-button connect for Puppet mode
  • Gegl.Buffer GI signature errors
  • Build script auto-detects gegl-op.h for distros with incomplete pkg-config

Requirements

  • GIMP 3.2 or newer
  • NumPy recommended for Puppet-mode performance
