v0.8.188
HyperFrames v0.8.188
Released on 2026-10-23.
Lambda cloud renders now run their video work on arm64 by default, which costs less per render. Pass --video-arch x86_64 to keep x86.
This release also fixes renders in folders with a percent sign, long renders with small frames, scripts that shadow console, and motion blur, audio timing and frame handling.
Features
- CLI: Lambda deploy renders on arm64 by default, and --video-arch x86_64 keeps x86 (504ec2b30, #6073).
- AWS Lambda: Push a prebuilt image to ECR without Docker (0df088926, #6063).
- AWS Lambda: Attach the arm64 video image to releases and pin it (8d562a3d9, #6070).
- AWS Lambda: Arm64 video function image from the handler ZIP (f6cbf87cd, #6064).
- AWS Lambda: Run chunks on an optional arm64 image function (03ed14615, #6065).
- CLI: Preserve page motion blur off in local renders (10c724bf5, #6081).
Fixes
- Producer: A blank media src is no source instead of the page itself (c4c1e621d, #6121).
- AWS Lambda: Keep the arm64 image staging script out of the published package (401d0655f, #6118).
- Runtime: A composition script that shadows console no longer breaks the render runtime (b6de25391, #6119).
- Producer: Long renders with small frames no longer fail the up-front disk estimate (aeecf3834, #6117).
- Engine: Render into a folder whose name holds a percent sign (69738b7ce, #6116).
- Lint: Tell an agent where to move a video nested in a timed wrapper (d1aeb31bf, #6113).
- Core: Capture blur strobing, backdrop box, glow drop-out and callback motion (e85f56e86, #6106).
- Core: A scene paints no filter output from an HTML layer before its start or after its end (025549391, #6097).
- Engine: Hundreds of effects in one audio group mix in time, and a mix timeout is named (1accb709f, #6101).
- AWS Lambda: Make webm and mov audio in the separate audio task like mp4 (f5f884e33, #6098).
- Preserve motion blur off through cloud render requests (622527117, #6087).
- CLI: Preserve video frames when scenes reuse element IDs (da6b77bd8, #6095).
- Audio: Fit PCM to video frames before AAC delivery (9da107aef, #6089).
- Engine: Publish video frames only after decoding (aa4b53533, #6092).
- Parsers: Preserve Unicode offsets when stamping IDs (1cf4975d2, #6079).
- Exclude base-marked generated files from comment checks (36c4a9fd8, #6091).
- AWS Lambda: Retry a file upload after a dropped connection (77394fe9e, #6082).
- Data-volume multiplies the volume lane in preview and render (a8ac55dc3, #6068).
- Ci: Pin and reuse the docs validation CLI (27b9f6850, #6080).
- Hooks: Run the checkout's own oxfmt, oxlint and tsc instead of bunx (b3f586903, #5751).
- Studio: The edit-accuracy gate says the shards did not run, not that accuracy fell (609ff5a7c, #6069).
