DOCES 0.1.0 adds NumPy 2.x support and allows users to define probability functions for posting, receiving, and rewiring.

  • Runtime compatibility: Supports Python 3.9–3.14 with NumPy 2.x. NumPy 1.x is no longer supported.
  • Custom probability functions: Configure Python functions or ProbabilityTable objects for all agents or individually, including mixtures with built-in filters. Functions receive an absolute difference and must return a finite probability in [0, 1].
  • Interpolation: Functions are sampled on a user-supplied grid during configuration. The C engine evaluates the resulting tables using linear or previous-value interpolation, without calling Python during simulation.
  • Filter configuration: Adds configurable rewiring filters and the REVERSED_HALF_COSINE constant. Warnings identify custom receiving configurations where simulation-time phi has no effect.
  • Documentation and builds: Expands filter documentation, adds a custom-filter tutorial and regression tests, and updates source/wheel build workflows.
