1.7.0
Release v1.7.0
- New forensics module: hotspot, coupling and ownership analysis.
- Forensics ships PHP, Python, TS, Java and Go language plugins.
- Forensics adds SZZ defect risk, complexity trends and release cadence.
- New forensics-report agent command; HTML and CSV report exports.
- New worktree isolation, on by default, with a per-project opt-out.
- Datasources sidecars are demand-gated and start for live sessions.
- Renamed the open-pr module to gh-create-pr (breaking).
- Refactor module: PHP scope fixes; reports unrewritten references.
- Memory vault gained a todo → active → archive work-item lifecycle.
- Memory search warns on superseded notes; aliases are documented.
- Claude Code: omit disabled MCP servers, scope hooks and symlinks.
- Codebase-memory persists its gateway root and primes on up/commit.
- Graphify scopes its index to src/ and prunes stale cache on up.
- OpenCode blocks PTY in subagents; protocol adds a PTY marker.
- Signoz is disabled by default; reports DEGRADED on auth errors.
- Session exit reconciles module services and prunes the opencode DB.
- Runtime WARN lines are alerted at session end.
- CLI emits no ANSI colour when stdout is not a TTY.
- Install writes global config first; memory seeding is portable.
- AWS: run the MCP proxy from an installed uv tool.
- Test suite: parallel BATS jobs, no gpg signing, node 22 image.
1.6.0
Release v1.6.0
- New AWS module: one MCP server per connection, identity pinned.
- New deterministic refactor module for PHP, Python and TypeScript.
- New Sentry module for error monitoring and issue triage.
- New Atlassian module for Jira via the official Rovo MCP server.
- Datasources gained sidecar servers and a first-party S3 reader.
- MCP servers take a per-server enabled flag; several ship disabled.
- The docs site is now generated from module-owned documentation.
- Shared git-commits skill extracted from the commit rules.
- Agent contracts hardened: MUST baseline, immutable identity.
- The test suite runs in parallel, with a serial fallback.
- OpenCode: richer PTY panel, hidden tool details, 50 MB log cap.
- External modules are provisioned by declaration, not enablement.
- Codebase-memory gateway fixes: root, priming and store reclaim.
- Format hooks only run where a project declares prettier.
- The docs site gained a reworked "Why DevBot?" section.
1.5.3
Release v1.5.3
- codebase-memory gateway now starts on Docker Desktop for macOS; its
index store moved to a Docker named volume, off the host bind mount. - codebase-memory indexing runs through the shared gateway over MCP; the
host npm CLI, lifecycle scripts and the Node prerequisite are gone. - Release files now carry the patch version, so patch releases no longer
overwrite each other's notes. - Release tooling supports the unstable four-component scheme (a zero
major, e.g. 0.7.4.0); version no longer refuses those repos.
1.5.2
1.5.1
1.5.0
Release v1.5.0
- New datasources module: MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, Redis over MCP
- datasources validated against the real toolbox, not a TCP dial
- mdctx, signoz, svelte and codebase-memory MCPs run once per machine
- PTY sessions for long commands; channel choice and guards cover PTY
- Agent instructions hardened: plan confirmation, no circumvention
- Agents grade the tools they use; stats reports the grades
- The session id and agent name reach the shell on both harnesses
- QMD is BM25-only: no model downloads, embeddings or MCP server
- Always-on context shrunk: memory folded, skills capped at 400 bytes
- Memory notes split by tracking: work/ and thinking/ stay out of VCS
- init/reset reconcile stale entries; Chrome and Playwright pinned
- Retired containers reclaimed, GPU gated, index branch-aware
- Global config writes are atomic; disabled modules keep no manifest
- Add a gated release command: merge, tag, push and publish
- format-* no longer overwrites a file changed while formatting
- The ollama endpoint env var is unified on OLLAMA_API_URL
- README restructured, docs front page reworked, MIT licensed
