Create app-specific Windows Setup executables with the Project-Z wizard, progress, optional launch on completion, and command-line tooling. End users do not need the heirowInstaller authoring application.

• Share one optional heirowUpdater runtime across applications. Signed, compressed .hupd packages replace changed files and preserve unchanged files.
• Reuse an application's captured SocketJack session for authenticated updates, including its first login after an updater starts without credentials.
• Migrate explicitly recorded, signed MSI and Burn baselines to native file ownership with verified recovery media and restart recovery.
• Repair and remove MSI installations at their recorded custom directory. Preserve the original authored-destination mode during legacy maintenance.
• Support application working directories, structured .NET Desktop and Visual C++ prerequisite detection, and authenticated cleanup or quarantine of proven legacy staging directories.
• Extend trusted publishing, delegated signing and protected preparation while retaining the established publisher key.

The Setup executable is standalone. The .hinst is the signed package for authoring and automation; the .hupd transitions the published 2026.10.24.8 package to this version. SHA256SUMS.txt lists release hashes. Application-specific releases are published separately.
