Release list
AgentDeck 0.18.0
The phone is no longer a web page on your Wi-Fi: it's an app, it works from
anywhere, and it tells you when an agent needs you.
- An Android app. Scan the code in Settings → Phone with your phone's
camera: the page that opens installs the app and pairs it. Home shows the
agent that needs you with its question and Allow / Deny; then every agent,
your usage, and settings. Risky requests still need a hold. (iPhone later;
the browser page still works on any phone.) - From anywhere (off until you turn it on): Settings → Phone → From
anywhere connects your PC to the AgentDeck relay, so a paired phone reaches
it away from your Wi-Fi. Everything stays encrypted between the phone and
your PC; the relay passes it along and can't read it. - Notifications: "An agent needs you" on a locked phone, with no details
in it. Phones with Google Play services get it through Google's push; phones
without (Huawei and others) listen for your PC themselves, so they work too.
The phone's Settings shows whether notifications are on, or the one thing to do. - Phones stay paired when AgentDeck restarts (kept on your PC, encrypted
with your Windows account). A code is used once: the phone swaps the code's
key for its own on first connect. - History says when a request was answered from a phone.
AgentDeck 0.17.0
AgentDeck should make sense without knowing what a hook or a status line is.
- Clearer menu: Agents · Usage · History · Safety · Settings (was Sessions,
Usage, Audit log, Rules, Setup). - Settings, rebuilt: a status card at the top says "All set" or what needs
doing, with one button to fix it. Below, grouped cards (Your agents, Alerts,
Phone, General, Help) with a switch and one short line each. File paths,
sandbox notes and other details moved behind More details. - Safety in plain words: the 22 blocked command patterns are now three
switches: deleting lots of files, rewriting git history, reading your
secrets. The exact commands are still there under Exact commands. Your
"Always" and "This session" choices are listed as shortcuts, and their
risk limit reads "Still ask me for risky ones" instead of "up to medium". - The island is for glancing and answering. It no longer squeezes Rules
and Setup into tabs; its gear opens Settings in the AgentDeck window. - A friendlier setup guide: what AgentDeck does in three lines, one switch
per agent, and where to find the island. - Phone: "Connect a phone" with three short steps next to the QR code, tips
behind "Phone can't connect?", and "Try it on this PC". - Approval cards say how much time is left ("8m left") instead of "terminal in 8m".
AgentDeck 0.16.3
Download: AgentDeck_x64-setup.exe (Windows 10 & 11, x64, installs per user, no admin rights).
Easiest: install with one command in PowerShell (no browser warnings):
$f="$env:TEMP\AgentDeck-setup.exe"; iwr https://github.com/hicham-alaoui0/agentdeck-beta/releases/latest/download/AgentDeck_x64-setup.exe -OutFile $f -UseBasicParsing; start $fThe beta isn't code-signed yet, so browsers and Windows may warn you. In Microsoft Edge: in Downloads, ⋯ → Keep, then the small ⌄ arrow next to Delete → Keep anyway; then More info → Run anyway.
Already on 0.16.0 or later? With Check for updates on, AgentDeck offers this version on the island: click it, then Install and restart.
What's new in 0.16.3: problem reports
- When AgentDeck crashes, it tells you next time. Errors in AgentDeck's own code (the app, the hook relay, the status line) are saved as a short report on your PC, and so are the crashes and freezes Windows records for AgentDeck. On the next start AgentDeck offers it once: Report on GitHub opens the bug form filled in for you to read and submit; Dismiss deletes it. All of them are in Setup → Diagnostics.
- Nothing is sent by itself. Reports are redacted like the diagnostic bundle (no user or computer names, home folder, tokens, commands, prompts or code), and What would be sent? shows exactly what's in one.
- The status outline now shows on the island too: the thin ring around each face was too faint to see at that size.

AgentDeck 0.16.2
Download: AgentDeck_x64-setup.exe (Windows 10 & 11, x64, installs per user, no admin rights).
The beta isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may say "Windows protected your PC": click More info → Run anyway.
Already on 0.16.0 or later? With Check for updates on, AgentDeck offers this version on the island: click it, then Install and restart. Coming from 0.15 or older: install this one by hand once.
What's new in 0.16.2: crew tune-up
- Every buddy has its own shape, so you can tell them apart even at the island's smallest size: Sprout is a squat dome with a bigger sprout, Tofu a real block, Dash a slim pill that leans forward like it's dashing off. Pip's antenna bulb and Dash's bow are bigger.
- Status reads on any color. Working, needing you and done now draw an outline in the status color with a thin dark gap, so it no longer disappears into a body of the same color.
- Resting looks like resting. At a usage limit a buddy keeps its own color (a touch dimmer) with a calm violet glow, instead of turning dark and muddy.
Free during the beta, not open source: see LICENSE.txt.
AgentDeck 0.16.1

What's new in 0.16.1: cleaner reply box
- The reply box looks like the website's: a pill with a thin outline, a green glow while you type, and a round send button. The hints moved to its tooltip (Enter to send, drop files to attach, Esc to let the agent stop).
- Setup → Updates no longer says you're up to date when the check failed; it shows only the error, and the automatic check tries again within 30 minutes.
Free during the beta, not open source: see LICENSE.txt.
AgentDeck 0.16.0
Download: AgentDeck_x64-setup.exe (Windows 10 & 11, x64, installs per user, no admin rights).
The beta isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may say "Windows protected your PC": click More info → Run anyway.
Coming from 0.14 or older? Install this one by hand once (it keeps your hooks and settings). From 0.16 on, AgentDeck can update itself: say yes to Check for updates when it asks, or turn it on in Setup → Updates.
What's new in 0.16.0: updates
- Update check (off until you turn it on). AgentDeck asks GitHub for its latest release at start and every few hours. Nothing about you or your sessions is sent. Check now works even with it off.
- New versions show on the island once (an important fix at every start until it's installed), with a badge on Setup. Install and restart downloads the update, checks it against AgentDeck's signing key, installs it and restarts AgentDeck. Your hooks, rules and settings stay as they are.
Also new since 0.14.3 (0.15.0): phone companion
- Answer from your phone (Setup → Phone, off by default). Pair a phone by scanning a QR code: it shows what needs you (approvals, questions, finished agents waiting for a reply), every session, and your usage.
- Local and sealed. Phones connect over your Wi-Fi or Tailscale only; nothing goes through the internet. Everything is encrypted with a key only the QR code carries.
- Kept apart from the PC. A phone can answer, reply and let an agent stop, nothing else. Pairings live in memory only.
- Preview on this PC (Setup → Phone) to try it without a phone.
Free during the beta, not open source: see LICENSE.txt.
