Improved startup and setup speed for a faster first-run experience
Stabilized CI reliability by fixing Python CLI execution issues and resolving mypy failures
Added better terminal rendering for prompt-pack output
Improved Docker defaults and onboarding experience for new machines
New Features
Prompt Pack Workflow

RepoBrain now supports generating structured prompt packs from repository context and evidence.

New CLI command:

repobrain prompt

Supported options include:

--source review|ship|patch-review|import
--style generic|codex|cursor|claude
--max-prompts
--focus
--baseline-label
--base
--files

This enables workflows such as:

Generate fix prompts from review findings
Create shipping checklists before release
Produce patch-review prompts from changed files
Import and reformat prompt packs for external tools
Backend API

A new endpoint has been added for prompt pack generation:

POST /api/prompt-pack
Web Workbench Integration

The Web Workbench now includes a new Prompt Pack action button, making prompt generation accessible without using the CLI.

Terminal Output Improvements

Added a dedicated text renderer for prompt_pack payloads so terminal output is cleaner, easier to scan, and more useful during debugging and review sessions.

Reliability and Developer Experience

This release includes multiple improvements aimed at making RepoBrain more reliable in local and CI workflows:

Fixed direct Python CLI execution from source:
python src/repobrain/cli.py ...
Resolved multiple mypy and typing issues across provider and CLI-related paths
Improved Docker defaults and reduced setup friction on fresh environments
Added focused tests for prompt-pack generation
Reduced CLI startup time through lazy imports
Verification

The following checks were validated for this release:

python -m pytest -q
python -m repobrain.cli prompt --help

Frontend assets were also rebuilt and synced into:

webapp/dist
