First preview release of GhostPantry.

Track groceries in your pantry, fridge and freezer, scan shelf photos, review product names and quantities, and build a shopping list.

Android downloads

  • arm64-v8a APK: use this on Pixel 8 and most current Android phones.
  • x86_64 APK: for compatible Intel/AMD Android devices and emulators.
  • Android 10 or later is required. APKs are signed release builds. SHA-256 checksums are included.

Scanning is experimental: review suggestions and quantities before adding foods. Fast scanning needs model downloads. System AI requires a supported device; local language models require compatible hardware. Server mode uses the provider you configure.

This release uses a dedicated upload signing key. If an older development APK has a different signature, Android will require uninstalling it first. Uninstalling removes locally stored inventory; preserve anything you need before switching. Google Play installations use Play's app-signing key and are a separate installation path.

Google Play internal testing is available to configured testers. Public Play availability is pending the required closed testing and review.

Desktop preview packages

Linux x86_64 (AppImage, DEB and RPM), Windows x86_64 installer, and macOS Apple Silicon DMG are included. These preview installers are not developer-signed or notarized. Desktop packages were built by successful platform CI jobs at commit a6e0c99; the changes after the release tag only update the website and release-test fixtures. Android APKs retain the dedicated release signing key.
