unable to pull wire from group output on mac

This might be a skill/use issue but anyway, as stated: on Mac, after creating a group and designating an output var for the group, I am unable to pull an output wire out of the var. Any attempt to drag from the little output wire circle (that does show on hover) drags the whole group.

I was able to reproduce this on Linux, so its not a Mac bug. Basically, you cannot pull a wire from an output variable when the group is zoomed to display its contents.

Workaround - zoom out until the group's contents are obscured, then you can pull a wire out fro the output variable.
