CS170 Project 2 Part 3 Release

This release completes Part III of the project by adding full LOOCV-based feature selection, dataset visualization tools, and extended analysis functionality. It builds upon Parts I and II by using the actual nearest-neighbor classifier and Validator to evaluate feature subsets instead of random scoring.

CS170 Project 2 Part 2 Release

This release contains the full implementation of the Part II requirements for CS170 Project 2. It extends the Part I codebase by adding a complete 1-Nearest Neighbor (1-NN) classifier, dataset normalization, and a full Leave-One-Out Cross Validation (LOOCV) validator. These components are integrated with the existing feature-selection framework and follow all specifications in the project handout.

CS170 Project 2 Part I Release

This release contains the full implementation of the Part I requirements for Project 2. It includes both the Forward Selection and Backward Elimination feature selection algorithms, each using the required stub random evaluation function. The program prints detailed search traces for both algorithms following the assignment’s example format.
