v0.1.9 · Codex Pet HUD

What's changed

🐛 Bug fixes

  • Follow the integrated Windows Codex Pet when current state stores direct pet coordinates without legacy window or mascot rectangles
  • Validate the direct Pet coordinates against the containing live Codex window and refresh placement four times per second
  • Keep Windows HUD dimensions invariant while the Pet moves, crosses displays, changes remembered size, or approaches a screen edge
  • Reposition both potions to the open side instead of shrinking them when one side has insufficient space
  • Avoid reapplying identical WPF dimensions on every tracking tick so movement cannot trigger redundant layout sizing
  • Add live Windows controls for HUD scale, pixel offsets, directional nudging, gap, and Pet-relative split/left/right/above/below alignment
  • Replace the generic Windows information tray icon with a custom cat-and-potions emoji icon optimized for 16–256px display sizes
  • Fall back to the opposite open side at screen edges so explicit Pet-relative alignment cannot overlap the Pet
  • Keep direct-coordinate tracking visible while a resized Pet's fallback bounds temporarily exceed the containing Codex window
  • Make adversarial Windows HUD layout tests a required release-build gate
  • Support CodexPetLimitRings.exe --settings for direct access to the live settings window and automated UI verification

Warning

These preview builds are not Developer ID notarized or Authenticode signed. macOS Gatekeeper or Windows SmartScreen may display an unknown-developer warning. Download only from this official repository.

The live usage integration reads the existing Codex access token in memory and calls an undocumented internal endpoint. Tokens, logs, and Codex data are never included in release assets.
