HarborDrop 1.4.3

This maintenance release makes download notifications reliable and transparent across HarborDrop and macOS notification settings.

Improvements

  • Added foreground presentation for download completion and failure notifications while HarborDrop is active.
  • Added Settings guidance for macOS notification permission, banner, Notification Center, and sound configuration.
  • Added direct access to macOS notification settings and an explicit status refresh action.

Fixes

  • Fixed custom completion and failure sounds playing when notification sounds were disabled for HarborDrop in macOS.
  • Fixed extension update reminders being marked as delivered when the notification request failed.
  • Bounded failed-notification throttling state to prevent stale entries from accumulating during long-running sessions.

Extension 2.3.14

  • Added a per-media close button to the HarborDrop download overlay.
  • Kept a dismissed overlay hidden for the same media during page rescans and restored it when the media element loads a different source.
  • Preserved downloads that were already handed off when the overlay is closed.
  • Updated the Full, CWS, and Firefox extension packages to version 2.3.14.
