HarborDrop 1.4.5 is a maintenance release that improves segmented download reliability when servers enforce connection or rate limits.

Improvements

  • Automatically reduces per-download segment concurrency after HTTP 429 responses.
  • Preserves completed segments and retries only the affected segments.
  • Respects Retry-After responses with bounded backoff and retry limits.

Fixes

  • Fixed downloads that could stall or fail when a server allowed fewer parallel range requests than configured.
  • Added regression coverage for concurrent rate limits, staged concurrency reduction, retry bounds, and completed-segment preservation.

Extension

  • Retains HarborDrop browser extension 2.3.15 for Chrome Full, Chrome Web Store, and Firefox.
