Release v0.4.0 — Repo Cockpit, Reframe Studio, Native MCP Server & Developer Pro Suite

A major feature release uniting the Repo Cockpit developer suite, Reframe Studio AI IDE canvas, and an embedded Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for local agent orchestration.

Key Additions

1. Embedded Native MCP Server & STDIO Bridge

  • JSON-RPC 2.0 Server embedded directly inside the Electron main process listening on http://127.0.0.1:3988/mcp.
  • scripts/mcp-stdio-bridge.js: Universal STDIO bridge enabling Claude Code, Hermes Agent, Antigravity, and Cursor to control the shell.
  • Tools Included:
    • reframe_list_workspaces — live repository detection and status.
    • reframe_get_git_status — detailed branch, ahead/behind, stashes, and working tree changes.
    • reframe_trigger_build — supervised background npm script execution with streamed output.
    • reframe_get_system_telemetry — CPU, RAM, uptime, and window metrics.
    • reframe_open_external_ide — 1-click external launcher for VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or Explorer.

2. Reframe Studio (Dockview Canvas)

  • Multi-Dock IDE Workspace: Flexible, draggable docking system powered by dockview.
  • Dynamic Widgets: Rich widgets for live telemetry, data tables, logs, chat, and custom dynamic panels.
  • State Persistence: Canvas tab layouts and dock states automatically persist across sessions.

3. Developer Pro Suite

  • Command Palette (Ctrl+K): Rapid fuzzy launcher for navigation, theme switching, git branches, and build scripts.
  • Git Diff Visualizer: Side-by-side and unified git diff modal for inspecting staged and unstaged changes.
  • Branch Switchboard: Fast branch creation, switching, and clean working tree validation.
  • Integrated PTY Terminal: Resizable bottom drawer running real ConPTY pseudo-terminals (pwsh / powershell.exe) themed to the active preset tokens.
  • Zero-Lag Watcher: Debounced file-system watcher targeting .git/HEAD, .git/index, and refs/heads for instant updates.

4. Windows Focused Architecture

  • Pure desktop architecture compiled for 64-bit Windows.
  • Pre-built NSIS installer and portable single-file executable.
