v0.38.0.6.2
Small UI + a11y release on top of v0.38.0.6.1.

A fork of Fider, AGPL-3.0.
v0.38.0.6.1
Private Ideas + Resend Email
Built on Fider v0.38.0 (incorporates the upstream v0.37.0 and v0.38.0 security releases). Patch over v0.38.0.6.0.
Fixed since v0.38.0.6.0
- Resend recipient format — the provider rejected recipients without a display name (sign-in codes, notifications) with an HTTP 422
validation_error. It now sends a bareemail@example.comwhen there is no name, andName <email@example.com>when there is.
Features
- Resend email provider — set
EMAIL=resendandEMAIL_RESEND_API_KEYto send transactional mail through Resend instead of SMTP. Bounded retries on transient failures (429/5xx/transport), honoringRetry-After, with a stable idempotency key so a retried message is never double-sent. - Private Ideas — collaborators and admins can mark an idea private, at creation or via a toggle on any idea. Private ideas are hidden on every surface: board, all lists, search, roadmap, RSS, the public API, single-post links (404 for non-collaborators), status/product counts, and notifications. Merging is blocked across a privacy boundary, and toggling privacy propagates across a merged duplicate cluster.

⚠️ Superseded by v0.38.0.6.1. The Resend provider in this build rejects recipients without a display name (sign-in codes, notifications) with HTTP 422. Use v0.38.0.6.1.

Upvora v0.36.1.5.7
Scorecard fields catalogue: wraps long cell text to fit the card with NO horizontal scrollbar (scoped to the catalogue; other admin tables and the public list are untouched). Finalizes the fix from v0.36.1.5.4-.5.6. No schema or behavior changes.
Upvora v0.36.1.5.6
Fix (supersedes v0.36.1.5.5): the admin Scorecard fields catalogue now wraps long cell text to a second line and fits the card, scoped to the catalogue only. v0.36.1.5.5 mis-scoped the change onto shared classes (regressing ManageStatuses / ManageProducts and the public scorecard list) and used fixed column widths that overran into neighbouring columns because the cells could not wrap. This reverts the shared changes and re-enables wrapping on the catalogue table alone. No schema or behavior changes.
Upvora v0.36.1.5.5
Fix: the admin Scorecard Settings > Field catalogue table is now locked to the card width (table-layout: fixed) so it can never overflow the card on any window size. v0.36.1.5.4 removed the scrollbar but the table could still spill off the right edge on narrower viewports; this pins the columns and wraps long content to a second line. No schema or behavior changes.
Upvora v0.36.1.5.4
UI fix: the admin Scorecard Settings > Field catalogue table now wraps to fit its card instead of forcing horizontal scroll. Dynamic (auto) column widths are kept; long labels/keys/usage wrap to a second line, and Edit/Delete wrap rather than being pushed past the card edge. No schema or behavior changes.
v0.36.1.5.3 — Vora web search + modernized idea-entry UI
Vora can now search the web (Serper.dev API key, or a self-hosted SearXNG instance URL — free & open-source). Model-driven: Vora searches only when your per-product instructions call for it, behind a master switch + per-product opt-in; results are treated as untrusted reference context and the agent still has no tools.
Modernized idea-entry experience: redesigned Vora chat panel (larger, rounded, gradient bubbles, modern scrollbar); condensed board-style share form with brand-colored uppercase labels and a framed editor; wider Idea Brief modal with a modern scrollbar. Fully responsive.
Also: reveal-saved-key for the Custom provider (hosted Claude/OpenAI keys stay write-only).
Upgrading: standard image bump, one automatic migration applied on boot, no new container or env vars. Click Update in the admin System panel.
v0.36.1.4.9 — Vora, the AI ideation agent
✦ Meet Vora
Upvora now ships with an optional AI ideation agent. Vora interviews idea submitters, then drafts the title, a summary description, suggested tags, and a full Idea Brief — all reviewed and editable by the user before anything posts.
Highlights
- Admin control room (Admin → AI): master switch, provider (Claude / OpenAI / custom OpenAI-compatible — including local LLMs; plain http allowed for private-network hosts only), per-product agent descriptions & interview instructions. API keys are write-only.
- Auto-draft: when Vora has what it needs it hands off automatically — no extra clicks. It never wraps on a turn that's still asking questions.
- Tags: Vora suggests 1–3 tags, validated server-side against the site's public tags.
- Idea Brief: a structured plan saved with the post. Submitter emails are stored only as a token — never rendered to any browser; admins can download the brief with the address substituted.
- Conversation transcripts: admins can view the full chat behind any Vora-created idea from the brief modal.
- Privacy & safety: agent has no tools; admin instructions steer style only; per-user rate limiting; briefs never invent undiscussed decisions — gaps land in Risks & open questions.
Fixes
- Long LLM responses no longer die at the server's 10s write timeout (the phantom-502).
- Anthropic assistant-final histories handled in finalize.
- Duplicate-merge, scorecard and post-page polish carried from the .3.x line.
Upgrading
Standard image bump — one automatic migration (idea_briefs transcript column). Vora is off by default; enable it under Admin → AI.
