What's New

Setup & Configuration

• Grid export and import sensors now required — Every PV system has these via inverter or smart meter. Prevents misleading values (e.g. all PV counted as self-consumption without export sensor).
• Amortisation helper now optional in options flow — recommended but not mandatory.

Smarter Sensor Visibility

• Sensors hidden when source entity is missing — Self Consumption, Feed-in, Savings and Earnings sensors only appear when an export sensor is configured. Daily Grid Import only when an import sensor is configured. No more confusing values from incomplete setups.

Improved Descriptions

• Clearer sensor descriptions — All energy sensor fields now explain: "Ever-increasing energy counter (kWh)". Hints to create a Riemann integral helper when only power sensors (W) are available.
