Question and Idea

Hey, is it possible to add the following commands: lf, fastfetch, cmatrix, asciiquarium, figlet, and lolcat? Also, I know nano can't be added in a-Shell, but I think I found a workaround. I used a MacBook on display, and when I typed "nano" in a terminal, it launched Pico. Is it possible to do this?

"pico" is already there. You can add "alias nano pico" to your own .profile or .bashrc file.

For the other commands, it would help if you could provide with a link to their source code.

Hi,
I've got good news and I've got bad news. The good news is that I found the time to try all these. The bad news is that only "figlet" works.

• fastfetch: I tried this one before. There's a lot of options in fastfetch/neofetch and the like that don't work or don't make sense on iOS. We have "ufetch", installable with "pkg install ufetch", and it shows about as much as we can.
• If: is coded in Go, so it cannot be a native port, it has to be WebAssembly. With tinygo it fails when trying to use stat, with go it fails when trying to use terminfo.
• cmatrix: cannot cross-compile to webAssembly, it requires programs named consolechars or setfont during the configure step.
• asciiquarium: requires the Perl module Curses, which would require re-compilation of Perl (and Apple detects curses calls in the binaries, so I'd also have to make sure nothing in the binary looks like tgetstr, tputs...
• lolcat: uses Ruby, so no way to make it run until I've cross-ported Ruby.
• Links/links2: I'd love to make them work, even though I prefer lynx myself. But: they are licensed under the GPL, so it has to be a webAssembly port. And I'm pretty sure they use sockets, which are not yet supported, even with my customized webAssembly interpreter.

For figlet, it's now "pkg install figlet".
