iOS 17 - HomeKit Bridge Pair 2nd Device

The problem

In the past I have created a HomeKit Bridge and added a second Apple user via the invitation in the Homekit settings in the Home app.
Since the latest iOS version this seems to have changed. So I recreated a new HomeKit Bridge and added it to my Home app. I also took a screenshot to be able to add it to my wife's Home app. However, this does not seem to work anymore. It just idles forever and does not connect to the HomeKit Bridge.

Anything I can do here or is the "easiest" solution to just add another bridge for the seconde iPhone?

Also is there a shortcut? When adding the devices it takes forever to manually rearrange them to rooms...

Hi, I have the same issue and the only option that I have found is to create a new bridge for the 2nd apple device. I’m lucky because I don’t have too many sensors, lights etc… It seems that you can share our home on a second device only if you have an Apple TV or Home pod that are fully integrated. Thanks Apple

You should be able to simply invite users to your existing home. Can you please share some screenshots of your Home app?

This is very strange. What if you delete the HA integration from this Home and create a new Home? Does it work? Failing that, you may need to nuke your entire Home app.

already tried. even reset the home app. button does not show up - but I guess this is as well an issue (or new feature haha) from apple itself (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255151735)

Actually on checking it’s replicable for me if I create a new home. So, it must be an iOS issue. I have followed these steps before with some success:

It is an deliberate change by Apple. A homepod is now required to share a HomeKit network. The only thing you can do is set-up one HomeKit integration per Apple device in the family and have each scan one of the QR codes.
