Problems with Oral-B IO Series 5

The problem

Hi, I wanted to connect my Oral-B IO Series 5 to Home Assistant, but I had a really hard time. I already use the SwitchBot integration via Bluetooth and a Xiaomi Smart Scale via HACS BLE integration.

I tried to integrate the device for 30 minutes but it didn't work (while I was actively playing with the toothbrush so it could be found via Bluetooth). Frustrated, I gave up and went to charge the toothbrush. The toothbrush was then automatically detected by Home Assistant. I thought I had solved the problem, but I haven't received any data from the device since the first connection (~16 hours ego), even though I brushed my teeth right next to the Bluetooth adapter.

Is there a reason why the Series 5 is not specifically mentioned among the supported devices?

I'm seeing the same issue but with my Pro Series 4000. it detected my toothbrush once during setup 2 weeks ago and tracked my brush time for only that one time. It hasn't detected any change to the brush time since then, and the graph shows a flat line for the past 7 days: (It continues to report that same brushing time)

I am having the same issue. Tried to add it to my setup, so far I have not detected it. I did however detect someone’s Series 7000 brush :(

I have the iO 5 as well, which got detected as a series 7000. I think the iO 5 is just a rebrand of the Series 7000.
For anyone having issues about the Bluetooth connectivity, I suggest taking a look at the Bluetooth integration page of HomeAssistant. There's a list of high performance dongles, which resolved my issues.
