Honeywell / Resideo Lyric integration failing at api.honeywellhome.com

The problem

I've followed the instructions on: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/lyric/ and I'm consistently blocked when I get to the add integration step and am redirected to the https://api.honeywellhome.com/oauth2/app/login URL

I'm prompted for the credentials for the developer account I created and no matter what I do I get a failure to auth. When I go back to https://developer.honeywellhome.com/user/me/apps I'm able to log in and see my app.

I'm having the same... Not sure if it's region-tied but I'm in Europe.

I thought I had the same issue, but turned out there was no issue.
Problem for me was that is was trying to sign in with the developer account credentials, but needed to sign in with the account/credentials used in the Resideo app (used to configure the thermostat in initial setup).

What happens now is we redirect the user through the browser to a login page where they enter their Lyric Username and Password (same as they would use in the app).

Actually, @trippme , in my case Resideo was truncating my password to 16 characters in the app, but not in the web UI. Using the web UI, I couldn't log in with the full password.

+1, neither app or developer credentials work, even when making sure to limit the account password to 16 characters.

Same here, it used to work fine when configured about 18 months ago. Same issue as described here now.

Could it be related to the redirect URL? I get something like this

I am also having this issue. New setup, in the US. No credentials that I have work in that login page.

I have attempted to contact developerinfo@resideo.com to make them aware of this issue, but I'm not sure if us few thousand users are enough for them to put effort into this. We'll see, I guess.

So my solution was to buy a different thermostat that was Tuya compatible and get rid of my Honeywell one.

Anyone want a crappy thermostat for home automation?

I wonder if @timmo001 has any input on this? This link has apparently not worked for 5 months now, so I wonder if I should budget replacing the 9 thermostats I need to add. It appears we need someone with enough clout to interact with Honeywell's Dev team, or to read the API documents they provide to see if something has changed.

I haven't tried oauth login recently but my current setup is refreshing tokens and am able to control my thermostat no issues. I can try setting up another instance maybe the urls have changed.

As far as I remember, the oauth login is the same login as used in the residio app, not the dev account
