Eheimdigital add integration fails

The problem

The EHEIM Digital integration is not installing. When it's asking for the device host name i tried all 3 known possibilities (eheimdigital, eheimdigital.local, 192.168.171.123).
It always failes with the meassage failed to connect, no more information was given, even not in the logs.
I found no way to add the intergration.

I enabled the debug logs for this intergration by adding logs: eheimdigital: debug into the logger part of configuration.yaml and restarted Home Assistant:

Then i tried to add the intergration ones again and found some entries in the log.

Basically all looks good, except the last line, which says my device type is not supported. Is this the reason that the integration can't be added?

My device is a EHEIM professionel 5e 350.

Hi, do you only have the professional5e filter? If yes, than I'm sorry, it is not yet supported. But adding the support is currently in progress 😊

If you need some tests, i'm happy to help...

But still, i would like to recommend adding some note which tells why the intergration failed to install. It took a while for me to get to the log information.

I second updating the error message, as well as the home-assistant page (https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/eheimdigital/)
It currently implies all devices are supported under the section 'supported devices' the first entry is 'all devices' with support for LED brightness.

Still, thanks for the effort of implementing this integration

Hello and sorry for the late response.
The intergration is now installing properly and i have access to one Entity "System LED brightness" of my device.

Thanks for the effort!

I and hope to get access to all entities in near future as also mentioned in this issue #150646 .
It would be really nice to get the EHEIM professionel 5e useable with your integration as it's described in the API (https://api.eheimdigital.com/docs/eheim_digital_api/professionel-5-e):

• Get professionel5e status
• Set professionel5e on/off
• Set Manual mode, Set Constant Flow mode, Set Bio Mode, Set Pulse mode
