Running indicator style settings do not seem to take effect

Dash to panel version 72, Gnome 49.1, Wayland, NixOS unstable, 3 monitors with middle as primary. Current settings attached.

Under Style / Running indicator, the the two options "Running indicator style (Focused app)" and "Running indicator style (Unfocused app)" do not seem to change the way the indicator looks. Whatever I choose for these two, on my end it looks like this:

where the green one is the focused and the gray ones are unfocused.

Is that something that anyone else can reproduce and, if so, any way I can troubleshoot why it's not working on my end?
