Installation

1. Install

Homebridge UI

Simply go to the 'Plugins' page, search August and install the @homebridge-plugins/homebridge-august plugin.

Manually

This will only work if you are using a platform which installs plugins globally.

sudo npm i -g @homebridge-plugins/homebridge-august

2. Configure

If you use the Homebridge UI then a configuration screen will appear after installing the plugin where you can enter your August (or Yale) credentials. On the very first start you will be emailed or texted a verification code - enter it into the settings and restart once more.

1. Enter your August account e-mail or phone number in the plugin settings and restart Homebridge.
2. August will send you a verification code - enter this code in the plugin settings.
3. Restart Homebridge once more and your locks will appear.

And voila, your August locks should be added to your Homebridge instance.
