Common Errors

Here are some of the common problems you may experience with the plugin and how to resolve them.

Login/Startup Errors

If the plugin cannot start or log in:

• Check your No-IP credentials and that the hostname exists in your No-IP account
• The log usually contains the exact reason - enable debug mode (Homebridge UI → Settings → Log Settings → debug level) and restart for more detail

Devices Not Appearing or Not Responding

• Restart Homebridge after any configuration change
• Check the device works in its own manufacturer app first - the plugin can only see what the account sees
