v0.2.4 - Gemini CLI + Codex CLI backends
New Backends: Gemini CLI and Codex CLI
aahp-runner can now spawn Google Gemini CLI and OpenAI Codex CLI agents, matching the capability of the openclaw-cli-bridge.
Usage
```bash
Use Gemini CLI as the agent
aahp run --backend gemini
aahp run --all --yes --backend gemini
Use Codex CLI as the agent
aahp run --backend codex
aahp run --all --yes --backend codex
Set as persistent default
aahp config --backend gemini # or: codex, claude, copilot, sdk
Auto-detect finds them automatically (new priority order)
claude > gemini > codex > copilot > sdk
aahp run --all --yes
```
Requirements
```bash
Gemini CLI
npm install -g @google/gemini-cli
Codex CLI
npm install -g @openai/codex
```
How it works
Both CLIs are spawned as subprocesses with the AAHP task prompt delivered via stdin:
- Gemini:
gemini -m gemini-2.5-pro -p "" --approval-mode yolo(headless mode, no workspace scanning) - Codex:
codex exec --model codex --full-auto
Commit detection, resource monitoring, and log streaming work identically to the Claude CLI backend.
Install
```bash
npm install -g @elvatis_com/aahp-runner
```
