🎖️ Title Keeper Wiki

Welcome to the official documentation for Title Keeper, a Minecraft Paper server plugin for giving players more control over their in-game identity.

Title Keeper provides automatic titles, badge titles, custom titles, colour selection, and hexadecimal colour support. Badge icons are delivered through a server resource pack.

Current release: TitleKeeper 1.7.0](https://github.com/honor9i4g/title-Keeper/releases/latest)

What can Title Keeper do?

Feature What it does
🎖️ Automatic titles Provides built-in automatic title functionality.
🏅 Badge titles Lets players display badge-based titles.
✏️ Custom titles Supports personalised custom titles.
🎨 Colour selection Includes built-in title colour selection.
🌈 Hex colours Supports hexadecimal colours for more precise title styling.
📦 Badge resource pack Supplies the visual badge assets used by badge titles.

Getting started

  1. Download the latest Title Keeper release from the Releases page(https://github.com/honor9i4g/title-Keeper/releases).
  2. Put the plugin JAR in your server’s plugins folder.
  3. Start or restart the Paper server.
  4. If you want badge icons to appear, set up the included resource pack — see Resource Pack Setup.
  5. Test titles and badges with a player account.

For the complete setup guide, see Installation.

Important: badges need the resource pack

Badge titles need the Title Keeper resource pack to display their icons correctly.

The plugin only adds badges when:

  • The badge resource-pack ZIP is available to the server.
  • resource-pack.url is set in plugins/TitleKeeper/config.yml.
  • The player has successfully loaded the server resource pack.

If the pack is missing or a player has not loaded it, the player’s title can still appear, but the badge icon is omitted and the player is notified.

See Resource Pack Setup for the full guide.

For players

Title Keeper is designed to make a player’s in-game identity more personal. Depending on what the server enables, players may use automatic titles, custom titles, badges, and colour choices.

If a badge is not visible, make sure the server resource pack has been accepted and finished loading. See Troubleshooting.

For server owners

Keep Title Keeper updated by using the latest release and checking its release notes before upgrading. The project’s badge collection expanded to 100 badges in version 1.5.0, and version 1.7.0 added server-side resource-pack checks and per-player load tracking.
