Fixed

  • The first-run hint copied a prompt with the skills folder hardcoded as ~/.claude/skills. Anyone who had changed claudeSkills.roots got a prompt pointing at the wrong folder. The configured roots are now used.

Install

VS Code — search for Claude Skills in the Extensions panel, or:

code --install-extension Hootbu.claude-skills-sidebar

Cursor — Cursor does not use the VS Code Marketplace, so use the .vsix below:
