Turbo Advance and Back Navigation #136
|
Hello! I have a rails html page with a turbo frame that's content gets replaced when a link inside is clicked (GET). I noticed in browser the URL was not changing so I added In my iOS TurboNative app I'm displaying this page in a modal and the click will replace the modal content but allow navigation back to the initial content. With the turbo frame tag in place the native back navigation does not appear, if I swap it out for a div the back navigation appears. It seams like I must be doing something wrong as removing turbo is unlikely the solution to fix turbo. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! My 'rules' are: |

I believe you're experiencing this issue: #48. Unfortunately it seems to be a bug or limitation of Hotwire Native. It would be nice if the behavior was the same across web and native, but I haven't fully gotten clarity on if this is a bug they intend to fix. (I would love to help fix it myself, but it's not even clear to me that everyone agrees that it is a bug, and the Turbo JS library is pretty dense so for me it wasn't obvious how to fix it.) |
