v0.1.6
Full Changelog: v0.1.5...v0.1.6
v0.1.2
0.1.1 — Native SDK distributions
Build Symbian EKA2 applications from an installed SDK, without preparing a source checkout or installing LLVM separately.
Each native SDK archive includes a relocatable installed tree with ARMv5T and ARMv6 runtime/API libraries, HTTP, WebSockets and TLS, target headers and import proxies, LLVM, CMake, Ninja, resource tools, complete application examples and the compiled C++ host SDK. The build tools include their non-system shared-library dependencies and licences.
- Native and host SDK archives: macOS and Linux, x86_64 and arm64.
- Python wheels: CPython 3.11–3.14 for all four hosts.
- Source archive and Python sdist.
Install the Python tools, download the matching symbian-sdk-0.1.1-<os>-<arch>.tar.gz asset, then:
pip install --upgrade symbian-platform
symbian sdk install ~/dev/symbian-sdk --archive symbian-sdk.tar.gz
symbian init ~/dev/hello_time --name hello_time --non-interactive
symbian app build --project ~/dev/hello_timeNative archives require macOS 15+ or Linux with glibc 2.39+; Python wheels support glibc 2.28+. Linux arm64 assets use aarch64; macOS uses arm64.
See Getting started and native SDK installation for packaging, signing and application workflows.
Firmware and original OS DLL implementations remain supplied by the target. EKA1 currently has a restricted ARMv5T process/import profile; these archives supply the modern runtime, GUI and networking libraries for EKA2. Physical-device compatibility requires checking the application's services and installation policy on that device.

Symbian emulator 0.1.0
Native EKA2L1 bundles with Qt for macOS and Linux on x86_64 and arm64. Install with symbian emulator install. Firmware and guest Symbian Qt are supplied separately. macOS bundles use ad hoc signatures; Linux requires glibc 2.39 and host graphics drivers. Corresponding emulator, Qt and per-host runtime sources are included.
