This release adds Root mode, polishes the onboarding flow and release note display, and fixes an onboarding hang.
- New: Root mode — rooted devices can grant permission without Shizuku
- OOBE: the control panel now tries to open automatically after the tile is added
- Display: release notes in the update dialog are rendered as Markdown
- Fixed: importing tiles from system could hang during onboarding

- Root mode: rooted devices can complete the permission grant during onboarding without installing Shizuku
🛠 Improvements
- Control panel opens after adding the tile in OOBE: exTile tries to pull up the control center once the tile is added so you can tap "Edit" right away; if it fails, nothing happens and onboarding continues unaffected (PR #1) ( @Perpetual-Memories )
- Readable release notes: the update dialog now renders release notes as Markdown
- Less confusing settings: "Progressive blur" now appears only when "Blur effects" is enabled, and its summary was removed
- Skip countdown shortened from 5 s to 3 s; donation and about page copy updated
- Debug tools now report "Root available" and the active privilege channel

A maintenance release that fixes several onboarding (OOBE) issues, makes the tile catalog smarter, and brings an "Import tiles from system" shortcut to the editor.
📌 TL;DR
- New: "Import tiles from system" in the editor's three-dot menu; OOBE skip button always visible, countdown shortened to 3 s
- Compatibility: tiles without icons are hidden from the add-tile sheet; the Workstation tile now shows on Xiaomi-family tablets only; the cooling fan tile is gated by device codename
- Fixed: 4 issues, including accidental tile actions before OOBE completes, home screen card spacing, import preview counting, and the debug entry icon
- Also: tile category reordering plus copy & style polish
✨ New Features
- Import tiles from system: the editor's three-dot menu now offers "Import tiles from system" to pull in your current system layout in one tap; the "Restore default settings" entry has been removed
- Cleaner tile catalog: the add-tile sheet now hides tiles without icons; Debug tools gained a "show unavailable / icon-less tiles" toggle
- Smarter device gating: the Workstation tile shows only on Xiaomi-family tablets; the cooling fan tile is gated by device codename (prague / warsaw); Debug tools now display the device codename
- Smoother OOBE: the skip button is now always visible, and the skip countdown was shortened from 5 s to 3 s
- Donation note: added a clarifying statement to the donation page

🐛 Bug Fixes
- Disabled exTile tile actions until OOBE is completed, preventing unexpected behavior before the guide finishes

- Fixed the debug tools entry icon on the settings page

📋 系统要求与兼容性
- Android 14 及以上
- 小米 MIUI / HyperOS 设备体验最佳
- 其他第三方定制系统一般可用，首次引导时会给出「可能不兼容」提示
- 部分类原生系统暂不受支持，引导页会给出相应提示
🔑 权限说明
exTile 需要 WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS 权限来修改快速设置磁贴，无需 Root，以下两种授权方式任选其一：
- Shizuku（推荐）：安装并启动 Shizuku，按应用内引导自动完成授权；授权成功后 exTile 可完全脱离 Shizuku 运行。Android 17 及以上版本可能无法使用原 Rikka 版 Shizuku，可以自行寻找 Fork 修复版
- adb 手动授权：电脑连接设备后执行

No root required.
exTile is an app that enhances the control center of custom Android UIs. Tuck less-frequently-used tiles away, then tap the exTile tile to bring them back anytime.
✨ Features
- One-tap layout switch: tap the exTile tile in Quick Settings to instantly toggle between the collapsed and expanded layouts
- One-page tile editor: arrange collapsed / expanded tiles with drag-and-drop in a 4-column grid, with undo support
- Rich tile collection: built-in system tile catalog, plus custom tiles and third-party tiles from other apps — all searchable
- Xiaomi / HyperOS extras: automatic MIUI / HyperOS detection, with sync for system toggles such as "Wordless mode" and the fused device hub

📋 Requirements & Compatibility
- Android 14 or above
- Best experience on Xiaomi MIUI / HyperOS devices
- Other custom ROMs should generally work; the setup guide will show a "may be incompatible" notice
- Some near-stock Android devices are not supported yet; the setup guide will warn you accordingly
🔑 Permissions
exTile needs the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission to modify Quick Settings tiles — no root required. Either of the following works:
- Shizuku (recommended): install and start Shizuku, then follow the in-app guide; once granted, exTile runs fully independently of Shizuku. On Android 17 and above, the original Rikka version of Shizuku may not work — you can look for community forks with fixes instead
- adb (manual): connect your device to a computer and run
adb shell pm grant com.hrsthrt74.qstile android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
