The attached app-release.apk is the direct-install build of NO SUS 1.6.0 for Android, the file the website's and the app's download buttons serve.
Installed NO SUS from Google Play? Update from Google Play instead. The Play build and this APK are signed with different keys, so Android will not install one over the other.
What's new in 1.6.0
- New design. The app is rebuilt in the monochrome NO SUS look from the Figma redesign: Home, Saved, Share, Groups and Activity in one consistent style, in light and dark.
- Web3 zone with NO SUS Canary. Send traceable notes: each reader gets an individually marked copy, so if one leaks you can see which reader's copy it was (by the name they entered). Receipts are recorded on Solana devnet, a public test network.
- Installer-aware updates. Play installs update inside the app through Google Play. This APK's update notice opens the next release here. If a version is too old to keep working, the app says so and offers the one update path that works for your install.
