Ollama Studio 1.116.0 — Beta 3 (macOS, Apple Silicon)

What's new

  • Fixes "Catalog unavailable at http://localhost:3939". The app now ships with a built-in model catalog and works fully offline — no catalog server required. Pick a provider (Ollama, LM Studio, Anthropic, OpenAI) and bring your own API key. A catalog server, when reachable, still transparently overrides the built-in list (dev / Enterprise self-hosted).

Install

  1. Download the DMG and open it.
  2. Drag Ollama Studio onto the Applications shortcut.
  3. Open it from Applications.
  4. If macOS blocks it: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

This build is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized, so the Gatekeeper warning is expected. Verify the download with the published SHA-256.

Apple Silicon only. Linux/Windows coming soon.

Ollama Studio Beta 2

Temporary public beta for macOS Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4).

Beta 2 adds the standard Applications shortcut and an installation guide inside the DMG.

Install

  1. Download and open the .dmg below.
  2. Drag Ollama Studio onto the Applications shortcut.
  3. Open Ollama Studio from Applications.
  4. This beta is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized. If macOS blocks it, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, click Open Anyway, then confirm.

Limitations

  • Apple Silicon only; not compatible with Intel Macs.
  • Not Developer ID-signed or Apple-notarized.
  • Automatic updates are not enabled yet.
  • Beta software: back up important work before testing.

The .sha256 asset verifies the DMG download.
